, the ABC’s international radio and online service.From traditional string band music to modern, politically conscience hip-hop, a wide variety of styles and attitudes are celebrated through Pacific Break. Discover a different side to paradise, meet the artists, find some space on the grass for a live concert and let the rhythm of Oceania wash over you all weekend.
Parts of this special broadcast will also be heard across Radio Australia’s 16 FM frequencies in the Pacific.

Some highlights over the weekend include:
Saturday 3:00pm – Caroline Tran presents the best music from the 2012 Pacific Break music competition, and catches up with this year’s winner from the Cook Islands, Jaik Berg.
Saturday 5:00-8:00pm – Live music and interviews from the 2008, 2009, 2010 and 2011 Fest’Napuan music festivals in Port Vila Vanuatu, including live performances from Pacific Break winners 26 Roots (Vanuatu), Emmanuel Mailau (PNG), III Kings(Solomon Islands) and BSQ (Fiji).
